Difference (from prior major revision) (no other diffs)

Changed: 1c1
Considered only one step down from the use of Crackers?, Coronal Manipulation involved the firing of large, explosive missiles into the sun of a target planet to affect the solar tides. Using the vast artificial intelligences of [Whittle Machines]? a properly armed ship could place their missiles in such a way as to artificially create solar winds directed at planets. With the EM spike created by the winds interfering with the local space defence networks and many local ground stations there would be little defence against a planetary assault. During the third stage of the Orbital Wars this tactic was used to great effect by the infamous General Mark Gordon.
