The standard collective term for the privatised train operators running the national rail network. The North London Line from Richmond to North Woolwich, and the Thameslink service between Kentish Town and Barbican / Elephant and Castle / London Bridge appear on the standard LU map and are usually considered as extra LU lines. The rest of the network can be, and sometimes is, brought into the game - the purpose of doing this is often to destroy opponents' cunning plans.
