The effect on the map of a disruptive move capable of destroying all mappings other than the Rotation Mapping. After such a move, the entire board is physically rotated about the Great Diagonal, and the paraboloids may become detached from the diagonals. The meaning of this is obvious, and rather disturbing, to any seasoned player.

The primary advocate of the deliberate massive rotation was, of course, Eamon Ruttsborough, who enjoyed picking up the other players and physically rotating them at the same time.

It is from this that the English language was given the now common phrase, "Rotate on this."
