Chirality is also known as 'handedness'. Most stations in the game have a defined chirality - that is to say they are either right- or left-handed. A few have no or indeterminate handedness. A station's chirality determines how it will be affected by rotation, reflection and helical stress and will obviously also influence the direction of pivots.
