Amarou is a mighty lioness that was brought to the Byzantine to fight in one of the few remaining ampitheatres. There she learnt flesh ripping and crowd pleasing techniques. Many would have dreamed of freedom once more, but Amarou was never that imaginative. Instead she dreamed of dinner, and being a cat she put in a lot of practice at sleeping and all associated activities.

Eventually she was bought by Merydin and brought back to Britain to help in his various schemes. Of course, her parts were usually pretty simple and frequently violent. Any plan that couldn't be explained in small words was asking a lot.

Amarou was part of the force that rescued the younge boy-king that Arthour serves. The whole thing was a bit of a mystery to her - she still doesn't understand what all the fuss over the baby was about. As far as she is concerned Arthour is the king and the baby is a baby. There is no-way the boy is going to be able to beat Arthour in a fight any time soon, so there is no way that he can be in charge.

Besides, she was too busy thinking about Tristram, the panther man warrior. Acoring to certain rumours she left the party to try and attract his attentions. It's to be hoped that Tristram doesn't have a wife - Amarou's idea's of competitive courtship are as simple as her ideas about politics. The strong win, and there are few with sharper claws than her.
