[edit] D&D wiki
I have stumbled acros another wiki that may be useful to us. It has large sections of the 3.5e rules available for viewing, which could be useful to anybody with the 3.0e or nothing at all. I'll add it to Useful links as well. I actually like some of the rules from the 3.0e better, but I'm sure there must be some good stuff in there too. Andy 10:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Looks handy. What are the major changes between the two anyway? And which ones do you want to keep? I just have 3.5... --Craig 18:42, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I only have the 3.0 rules, so I have the oposite problem. There are a lot more feats in the 3.5 rules, and some of the old ones have changed slightly - Skill Focus springs to mind. It used to be +2 and now its +3. The barbarian class has changed as well, they now get more bonuses as they go up in level. To be honest, I thought they already had enough. Some of the rules regarding odd races seems to have changed as well, mostly with regard to level modifiers. In the 3.0 rules being an ogre counted as 5 levels, now it seems to count for 6 instead. For lizardmen it was 2 (Same as their HD) now it's 3. We will have to sort some of this out before we start any new campaign. I think I've said it before, but if Ed has a copy of the 3.0 rules, I think we should use them. Stuff from the 3.5 rules can be introduced on a case by case basis. Andy 15:12, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Board Game Club
I'm planning to buy a couple of games from http://www.boardgameclub.co.uk in the nearish future (Attika and the remake of Fury of Dracula) - if anyone else wants to add to the order (there are a lot of random bargains in there if you search around, which only really work as bargains as part of a large order), let me know in the next few days and I'll post things on when I get them. --Kevan 11:41, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- I reckon I will, I'll look through the games at some point this weekend and get back to you. --Craig 07:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, no rush. Following on from the game of Catan we played, the Catan Event Cards are a Catan-themed deck-of-dice that I hadn't seen before. Not sure how annoying the random events would be, though. --Kevan 11:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- This order was sent off last week, by the way. --Kevan 09:58, 2 April 2007 (BST)
