Game PLay
Ok this subject kind of relates to all the others. What kind of feal are we planing for quests in this world? Are parties of pc still going into the wilds of this would in there pick ups, bullying a few ethnic minority groups like goblins. Linching them and then serching there bodies for anything good before going into some vast multy cultural under ground city with its own delicate eco-sestem to murder and loot as many of the natives as they can? Or are we think more spy orentated with one countries agents doing battle against an other country? Geoff
Well I suppose a few rednecks might still enjoy that sort of lifestyle but the rest of the world wont like them much!
I suppose there are many possible ways to play the game whether as spys, soldiers, criminal, civilians in war torn counties, industrial espionage, whatever you like.
Certainly, I've been writing my bits with a view towards 'realistic' game play, and no leaping over tall buildings unless you've just cast jump. Andy
My intent was to go for a world where the sort of things you get in action films would be the sort of things adventures would be based around. So you could do Die Hard (only with magic) or a kind of Hill Street Blues (but with kobold gangs fighting the goblin gangs) and the like. That was part of my intention when I started writing the wizard family stuff was that these extremely rich, kinda militant, very behind the scenes manipulating families would be a useful idea for patrons for a campaign.--Alex 18:15, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
As long as they are good action films, and not the shitty ones where the heros' seem to be able to dodge past hails of automatic fire at close range without taking a scratch. Andy 13:27, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
