Pictures

Andrew has pre-empted me there, I've been thinking of adding pictures to the profiles for a while now (Partly so I could imprint the idea that if the RAM game was a TV show then Jonathon Wells would be played by David Tennant...)

Of course its probably easier for the more human-like characters, where you can find a picture of an actor you envission playing the role. For the less human-like chararacters who would need CGI effects, like Noman, Krath, Shallat, Smith, etc, its a little harder. There's the option of finding random pictures of Ogre's, Lizard Men, horribly mutilated people, etc, but none of the Ogre pictures I found have the rather distinctive facial hair that Noman has grown in my various sketches, and there aren't any Lizard Men that are equipted correctly for Krath or Schallat.

What I was planning to do (which is why I hadn't got around to putting any pictures up) was to get some scans of my sketches and put them on my Imageshack page (I have sketches of some other peoples characters too, for the less artistically inclined) I could also (as Sandy has suggested) host a copy of the modified map of Taladas on the site too.

So, if you want me to put a sketch of your character on there, then just let me know. Hopefully I'll get around to making use of a friends scanner sometime soon...

Did I pip you to the post? You're right, it is hard to find pictures for som of the less human characters. I wasn't to happy with Schallats picture, but at least he does actually have a bow. I think adding some of your own sketches would be a good idea, along with the map. Geoff might want to add a few too, when I tell him about it. Have you seen the one I put up for smith?

Andy

I must admit I laughed when I saw the Smith picture...

But yes, sketches are probably going to be better for some characters. I have a number of pictures of previous characters of mine I can get scanned and passed on to you. I'll let you know when I have something ready.

Alex

This is a superb idea - well done folks.
