  1. The Fourth World posses a roughly real world level of technology and also magic.
    1. Magic and science are integrated smoothly, using whichever is most suitable to a given application.
    2. Arcane magic has a genetic component, but the genes are wide spread and crop up unexpectidly
    3. Divine magic comes from the gods, who try to find the bravest souls to join them in their afterlife in a divine war against the Great Old Ones.
    4. Druidic magic stems from a close affinity with nature, though what the source of this power is remains debated.
  2. The Fourth world is spherical.
    1. It has a large continent in the southern hemisphere.
    2. It has a large Antarctic continent which is home to several varieties of undead.
    3. It has two large islands in the northenhemisphere linked by a network of islands.
  3. The Fourth World is one of several dimensions.
