Crystof

Crystof is the head of the religious board in Laschfell that vets all who can stand as a candidate for election. While this man doesn't get to decide who is going to be the president, he does get to say who wont be.

Crystof has held this post for the last 20 years, and has used it assure that religious matters are always at the forefront of politicians minds. Most citizens of Laschfell support him, but many others (and a lot of outside observers) regard him and his kind as an obstacle to true democracy. The Druid would argue otherwise, of course, saying that the people still decide who will be president. He simply cast an executive veto on behalf of Gaia.
