How do I solve Lvl 9?

I need help!
How do I solve Level 9?
When I try using a packer it turns my crate into a barrel,which doesn't help!

Think about it some more.  Solving all the base levels (without spoilers) is a rite of passage because each level makes you come up with a new technique to solve it.
