Lazyone's puzzles
« on: October 27, 2006, 06:32:47 AM »

Here are a couple of new puzzles. Tell me what you think

**Please note that some of the puzzles are in my beta mode. Changes may be made later to actually make the puzzle easier or even solveable. I try to solve the puzzles first for the most part but sometimes i do not. And other times i make changes to very the degree of skill level required or to compensate for my stupidity and making it too easy or not solveable **   Grin

I'm still working on the first two. They're good.

But that third one, lumerab, has a fatal flaw in it's design. Check it out: maxekig

That's actually a fatal flaw in the game design; target matchers are only supposed to trigger for crates. I think it only breaks one existing user level design, if I change this, so I'll make the fix now.

Here are my solutions:
nosefoh - Trial and error to find the right timing.
rocypix - Not the way you intended to produce the right numbers I guess.
penyfar - Why make it harder than it needs to be.
Edit: more solutions:
gutadud - Ignores the intended random target string.
lomynat - Very fast, I don't think it can be done faster.

Suppose I'll try again without copying.

Man, I've just finished the one with the clock. (zoxakin)

It's a real killer, it took me hours to do... and I had to "cheat" a little bit (otherwise it's seriously IMPOSSIBLE).

So, here I proudly post my answer, which I baptized "Clock of Doom" : gecaryp   Cool

Just take a look at it and you'll understand why I've put this name Grin

Btw, good job Lazyone ! And nice game, Kevan !

They used to light up with barrels.
The game engine has since been updated because of this!  Tongue
