Is this a bug or intentional behaviour? It seems quite strange that it isn't symmetric. bazydup

It's a result from the difference in opening speed of gates to the left an right. They open to the right instantly, while opening to the left has an extra delay (there is a similar difference between up and down). See, for example: lisynux. The instant opening can be explained by the left-to-right evalutation order of gates, but especially the extra delay to the left is very strange indeed. My personal guess is, that Robin originally wanted to slow down the instant opening to the right, but mistakenly put the delay on the wrong side. We cannot change it now anymore, of course, because many puzzles and solution rely on this odd behaviour
