Hmm, the other day I said to the owner where I work that I didn't like how sites collect and keep info about my searching... and he said something like "Big Brother's just a fact of life now, if you're on the internet, they're going to track you." And I thought... geez, he's pretty relaxed about the privacy issue! haha. I don't know, I've learned to relax about things I have no control over, and not waste time worrying about those things. However, I can say with some certainty that I'll never say "I love Big Brother." I don't even like the TV show! heh.

So was there a particular search result you were thinking of, there? Bigbrother.pitas.com, at hits one and two, didn't look particularly compelling ("bigbrother.pitas.com is no more"), and the third hit looked like something Sailor Moon porny.

Um, people enthusiastically gushing "I love Big Brother" in TV discussion forums, and such. The phrase being the one that the brainwashers go for, in Orwell's novel.

Aha. I didn't look beyond the third hit, since generally linking a search indicates something observable in the first few, and I haven't read the book.

It still amuses me that America's version of Big Brother avoided the name. I mean, of course, the government, rather than the TV show.
