There seem to be different techniques. A bouquet appears once a year at an intersection near my house. On my drive to work, there's a perpetual plastic bouquet that gets spruced up for various holidays. And recently an entire graveyard, with tiny markers, appeared suddenly on a hill next to the highway. It's got reflector lights so oncoming traffic can spot it at night. Maybe it's a pet cemetery, but appearing all at once? Strange. I've thought about learning photography and going around the country documenting these things.
