Ah, so it's not a digial radio receiver, then? Not that I'm paricularly enthused about digital radio, mind.
How far does it go, TiVO-wise? Is it basic 'record <frequency> for <minutes> starting at <time> [every <day>]', or can it actually grab schedules from somewhere? Probably impossible with AM/FM, and I've no idea if digital adds on-air listings, but can it do it via some Windows software? Nik - Mon 16 Feb, 12:50:59 |
No, it's not digital, but I'm not really that bothered about digital if I can get more than enough good comedy and thought and science to listen to on Radio 4.
And no, it's not very TiVo at all, it's just the daily timer thing - "record at this time every weekday" is as clever as it gets. But (apart from the interface being a bit annoying, and programs only being listed in memory by their order-of-recording, and duration) it's good enough. Kevan - Mon 16 Feb, 21:12:32 |
