Hirsute, adventurous, reckless player of
token cascades; none of these things can be said of Watty, scion of a long line of Crescenting luminaries. Native of Aberdeen, he learned the Game at his father's knee, which was rather uncomfortable. His game play is somewhat old fashioned these days, relying as he does on the now discredited Stanmore opening. A member of the legendary
[Triumvipate], he can often be found at Pilgrimages consuming inadvisable quantities of beer.
Watty's early playing career is documented in the legendary 'Morningside Crescent', which he's never quite got round to publishing. Or indeed turning into something even half-readable. He used to live in the Buckinghamshire countryside and work dangerously close to Croxley, but has since emigrated and lives in western Canada.
