Stations are placed in auk if their escape velocity is greater than the sum of the line velocities of all lines served by the station. Naturally this is most common on non-interchange stations which have but one line to consider. Dollis Hill is of course permanently in auk as are several other weaker loop stations such as Greenford, Collier's Wood, Arnos Grove and Blackwall.
