A ruleset intended to launch Indian MC as an international force, this variant is notable for its pedestrian approach to almost everything in the game. It is certainly solid, but it also unimaginative and dull: the need to reconcile the unreconcilable led to a bland compromise. The Pakistan MCS had their own problems with
Quetta '78, of course.
It is notable that the failings of Bombay '78 were an inspiration to Mrs Trellis in her efforts to produce a more meaningful ruleset which led to Chalk Farm '84.
Bombay '78 is not an IMCS accredited ruleset.
