Cascade stations are those stations which are particularly useful when playing
station cascades, usually because they are strongly identifiable members of the cascade and also provide some other tactical benefit as well. Examples include
Covent Garden,
Green Park,
Park Royal and so forth. Choosing the correct cascade station to start, end, or continue a cascade is one of the subtler aspects of the game of Mornington Crescent. No-one who does not have at least some feel for cascade play will ever truly master the game.
