pipes. In fact, to be able to use pipes for movement is such a powerful facility that it dominates play in this variant. Sewer gas is a hazard, of course, but one of the game's particular charms is in seeing some of London's quite magnificent 19th-century underground architecture, a privilege only a few people get to enjoy.
