The sequence of events carried out after a player has successfully moved to Mornington Crescent – usually these are just standard token checks which resolve automatically and instantaneously, but it's possible that other players have set up countermeasures in advance, which must be resolved.
If the active player is still at Mornington Crescent when endgame has resolved, he or she may choose to claim victory.
