Euston is one of the three holding stations on the standard map, meaning there is no upper limit to the size of a token stack that can be stored there, although in Euston's case there is a limit to the number of tokens that can be carried or shunted per turn.

Effective use of Euston station relies on working round the major token sink at King's Cross. This is because Euston's token transfer limit is only slightly greater than the King's Cross sink capacity. Imprecise play usually results in almost all the excess tokens being swallowed up, leaving only a small net gain. For this reason, cautious players often prefer to circle the great holding station and collect smaller numbers of tokens via [Euston Road]? or [Euston Square]?. This is less profitable, but also less risky.
