Certainly not a winning move but psychologically useful when play is pressured. Essentially the player moves to an end station in zone six at the cost of a platinum token.

[IJB]

If line velocity is high and the correct endpoint station is chosen, the Jokkmokk single can be a useful rebound tactic, allowing a player to reconsolidate and then return to the attack in the shortest amount of time. (See also: reflection, rebound.) The important thing is to remember that the other players will be expecting the return, and will be able to predict the rebound location with high accuracy; therefore one must beware of running into a block. At the highest levels of play, the cost of the manœuvre and the single turn of predictable movement it generates is generally considered unacceptable.
