A more refined variation of the game brought to the area from the south by stokers of the great steam cargo ships of the industrial revolution. Obvious differences from the standard game are that when a player is stymied? by his immediate opponent this is known as mating, and when a player's route is blocked this is docking. If a player is both mated and docked then he is said to be in Heseltine and forced to miss a turn.
