In Mornington Crescent, objects such as
utensils and
tokens or podumes may be considered to be made of one of a number of
materials, including wood, plastic, stone, metal and a variety of more exotic substances – such as ectoplasm – depending on the exact
ruleset in use. Objects may also have secondary traits, such as
colour,
magnetism, reactivity
? and a variety of others depending on the nature of the game. In
Cress, an object's material may be a key tactical component in the game, but in Mornington Crescent the effects of materials are usually less pronounced.
