Each
paraboloid is usually attached to a
diagonal. When a
massive rotation of the
board occurs, the paraboloids may become detached from the diagonals allowing a
reduced-line velocity spiral manoeuvre into any desired station upon which they intersect.
This is often used to reach MC itself, if MC is declared nominally out-of-bounds.
Due to the complexity of the mathematics involved, a book of paraboloid tables (or digital parabulator) is generally required to use this rule.
