Tottenham Court Road on March 9th, 1908. However, if an opponent is about to win with a play of
Goodge Street, playing
Tottenham Court Road and invoking the
Pre-1908 Tottenham Court Road Rules allows a
temporal strile which roughly reverses the strengths of the two players' tactical positions.
